Videogames

I have a strong passion for crafting immersive audio in video games. I have a solid foundation in Sound Design and implementation using Wwise, Fmod, Unity and Unreal Engine 5. I bring games to life balancing creativity and always ensuring every element enhances the player’s experience!

I approach every project with a commitment to excellence. Whether through game jams or independent projects, I am always excited to collaborate on projects that push my limits and help me grow.

These are selected projects that demonstrate my ability to develop games and to design high-quality interactive audio:

I continuously seek to expand my knowledge and refine my craft. I have participated in game jams, and recently, I have been developing my own games using Unreal Engine’s blueprints and its AI features.

Below is one of my proudest projects. Today, the game has grown to a five-person team, highlighting the level of difficulty and scope of the project, but due to problems outside of my control, only myself and a fellow sound designer ended up doing 90% of the aspects of design and implementation. :

Lead Implementer and Technical Sound Designer

GAMEPLAY

My roles were lead implementer and technical sound designer. Moreover, I designed the ambience, sound effects, and fixed bugs. In this game, I also refined my game developer skills. Here are the extra features I added to the original game:

akrOOMS AND PORTALS

I wanted to create a dynamic and immersive spatial audio experience. I strategically placed one room per block and portals whenever there was a change of these blocks, this technique ensured seamless audio transitions between different environments. This implementation added depth and realism to the game’s soundscape, making in-game spaces more authentic and engaging.

SPATIAL AUDIO

Adding to the AKRooms and Portals, I implemented spatial audio to the video game. I integrated Wwise Spatial Audio to create an even more immersive sound experience. Using early reflections, diffraction, and sound propagation techniques, I enhanced the player’s perception of in-game environments, ensuring audio behaved naturally in relation to space and obstacles.
